Lovely Victorian Sea Shell Box

This box measures 4" x 5 1/2" x 2". The wood grain paper is unusual and very nice. The bottom has shells around the base. The lid is decorated with sea shells. These boxes are often referred to as Sailor's Valentines. However, someone has written Merry Christmas inside the lid in pencil. This box still has its Made in England tag. Good condition.
