This is a large (12" x 17") oval blue willow platter. It is the traditional blue willow pattern. The sides of the platter turn up providing a deep well for holding meat gravies. The bottom is marked Thos Hughes & Son Longport England. This dates 1895-1910. This platter is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There are stilt marks on the bottom as well as wear.
