Lovely Light Blue Willow Platter, J.&M.P.Bell 1842-80

This small pale blue platter is printed with a standard blue willow pattern. It measures 10 1/2" x 12 3/4". The bottom is marked with a wreath, a bell, and a crown. This is an early mark of the J.&M.P.Bell Glasgow Scotland pottery. This platter is in wonderful condition. There are no chips or cracks. There is wear. There are some dark pin-head sized marked from an accumulation of ink in the printing process.
