Antique Majolica Begonia Leaf Pickle Dish

This begonia leaf dish measures 8" long. The shape is that of a begonia leaf. The inside is emerald green, gold, and brown. The out band is pink. Separating the two is a pale green. This dish is not marked. There is a major exception in that there is a large chip out of the leaf near the point. There are other small chips on the points of the leaf. There is an age crack in the plate ring. Even though it sounds like a throw-away, it is still a nice decorator piece. The irregular shape of the leaf helps to camouflage the chip.
