This is a lovely bluebird china 9 1/4" plate. It is white and printed with 4 groups of blue birds and pink flowering branches. The rim of the plate is gilded. The bottom is marked Thompson. This is the C.C. Thompson Pottery Company of East Liverpool Ohio operation 1889-1938. This plate is unusual in that it has not yellowed or stained. There are no cracks or chips. It does have some crazing and utensil wear. There is a flaw under the glaze on one edge. I have 8 of these plates available in similar condition. The price is for a single plate.
