Lovely Flow Blue Salad Plates (2 avail), ASTRAL, W. H. Grindley ca. 1891

These plates measure 8" in diameter. The pattern is ASTRAL made by W. H. Grindley. The scalloped dark edge is beaded and embossed with small scrolls set over an arched scalloped printed line. Suspended from the outer border are the small star shapes composed of 4 diamond points. The lower part of the rim is encircled by triangular dark reserves enclosing a small stylized flower and three leaves. English Registry mark 426592, c. 1891. There is evidence of a gold rim, worn. I have only 2 plates remaining. The plates do have a small edge chip on the underside. 1 of the plates has crazing visible. The price is for a single plate.
