REDUCED Antique Mahogany MOP Inlay Letter Box, Fitted Inside

This mahogany letter box measures 8 1/2" x 11 3/4" x 5". The front and top are inlaid with Mother of Pearl. There is a lock but no key. The inside of the box has a silk covered folder in the top for letters. There is a lift-out tray with small compartments. There are some condition problems. There is a tight crack in the top_ not major. There is a crack in the bottom which cannot be seen for the felt covering. The back over one of the hinges has been repaired. There is a piece of veneer missing on that corner. The front left corner MOP is partially missing. The inside was poorly redone a long time ago. There is blue paper lining the box. The tray has been reworked. The silk covered lid on the center compartment no longer fits. The silk folder in the lid has some shredding. Sounds worse than it is. The outside is fine as it is. If the inside is a problem the tray can be repaired or discarded. Nice box.
