REDUCED 19c. Pewter Teapot, S.A.&S., Pear Shaped

This is a lovely pewter teapot. The shape is somewhat unusual in that the top appears to be squeezed if looking from the handle or spout handle. The lid fits nicely so this is the intended shape. The handle and spouts are attached with a blossom type decoration. Other than this, there is no decoration. The bottom is marked with Old English block letters. I believe it is S.A.&S. The number 4 and the number 541. The patina is great. There appears to have been a repair to the bottom of the handle at some time and possibly one on the side of the teapot. The teapot measures 5 1/2" tall.
