REDUCED Extraordinary Velvet Dresser Box, CADBURY CHOCOLATES

This Victorian decorative dresser box originally was a container for Cadbury chocolates. Can you imagine? It is covered in an olive green velvet with matching silk. The top has corner acorn decorations in copper. There is a coordinating design in the center of the lid with a pull ring. There appears there was a matching hasp which is now missing. The inside of the box is fantastic with its olive green and pink silk. There is a mirror in the lid. The bottom has 4 ball feet. One is a replacement. There is also advertisement stickers. Cadbury's Cocoa Absolutely Pure. "This box and its contents made at Bournville Worcestershire by the employees of Cadbury Bros. The silk pleating around the outside of the box has some shredding on the corners.
