This dark green majolica would be the perfect platform for serving summer fruits like strawberries or peaches. This dish is a pedestal dish measuring 8 3/4" x 2". The design is a basket weave. The edge is scalloped like the edge of a basket. The bottom is not marked. It is English from the late 1800's. There are 2 small chips on the underside edge. Stilt marks on the bottom.
