REDUCED Lovely Victorian Shell Box, Square

This small cardboard box measures 4 1/2" square and 1 1/2" deep. The inside and sides are painted red. There are small shells lining the edge of the base and the lid. There are a mixture of shells on the top featuring a large iridescent shell. The bottom has a faux wood grain design. There are two shells missing on the lid. There are 2 shells missing on the border on the base. It appears the paper hinge may have been repaired. Looks really good for a box made circa 1900. Cleaner than most.
