Each of these plates measure 10 1/2" in diameter. They have a scalloped gilt edge. The border design is made up of four heart shaped scrolled cartouches with small petal flowers around their bases. These alternate with a pattern of scrolls and the same small flowers. The pattern is linked by a chain of beading on the lower rim. Each plate is marked Royal Doulton with the pattern name. All four are in very good condition. Minor faults include a nick on the edge of one plate, a glaze pop , and inconsistency of the glaze in the bowl. The price is a single plate. You may buy 1 or both.
