Each of these plates measure 7 1/2" in diameter. They have a scalloped gilt edge. The border design is made up of four heart shaped scrolled cartouches with small petal flowers around their bases. These alternate with a pattern of scrolls and the same small flowers. The pattern is linked by a chain of beading on the lower rim. Each plate is marked Royal Doulton with the pattern name. Each plate has a flaw. The first plate has two chips on the edge. The 2rd plate has a place where the glaze has not covered well and some crazing. Nevertheless, they all display well. The price is for a single plate. You may buy 1 or both.
