This is a wonderful pedestal cake plate measuring 10 1/2" in diameter and 3" tall. The lip of the plate is up-turned for holding a sauce. The pattern is MEISSEN after the Blue Onion pattern of the German Meissen pattern. This plate is English and made by the Brown-Westhead, Moore & Co. of Cauldon, England. The mark on the bottom is a 1862+ mark of this company. This cake plate is in excellent condition.
