This is probably a calling card basket. Whatever the use, it is a gorgeous basket. It is woven with flat silver plated copper strips. The edge of the basket is lined with grapes and grape leaves. The center of the basket has a circular frame with 2 birds . There are 3 eggs in the bottom of the basket. The handle has a coordinating grape and leaf design. Wonderful item.

This repousse silverplate basket measures 7 1/2" x 10" and 2" deep. The design is lovely with its flowers. The handle is double with a ball at the top and where attached to the basket. It has 4 ball feet. The center of the basket is engraved with: "A Marriage Present to Miss I. Penman by the Teachers and Children in Carronshore School February 1901". The bottom is marked EPNS. This set of dessert forks are unusual in that they have blue synthetic mother of pearl handles. They have sterling silver ferrules, not marked. The bottom of the forks are marked EPNS JMC & S. They are English silver-plate. Each fork measures 5 3/4" long. The box is covered in simulated leather. It is worn. The velvet and satin liners inside the box are perfect. This is a beautiful set dating from the 1920's.

This small napkin ring has a flower and a leaf decorating the napkin ring. The flower is a lily with a large leaf and stem. It appears one of the points of the leaf has been broken. The ring is engraved. It also has the initials AR scratched in. It is marked Meridan Company 162. There is a nick out of the side.

This napkin ring is a figural which were popular in the late 1800's. It was silverplated over Britannia metal. Most of the silver is missing. Therefore, it has the appearance of pewter. Some even prefer this look. The napkin ring base measures 2 3/4" in diameter. It stands 2 1/4" tall. There are no maker's marks. The napkin ring has engraving and the initials, M.L.T. Other than the silver loss, it is in very good condition.

This teapot is silverplate. Very little silver is remaining. I like the dark gray finish left which gives a quadruple plate or pewter look to the teapot. The spout has a pleating design. The handle appears very organic. The sides and lid of the teapot are engraved with flowers. There are 4 feet. The bottom is marked 24 Britanoid Cloverleaf EP 2 Pint 2958. It measures 6 1/2" tall.

This is a wonderful napkin ring with 3-dimensional flowers (lilies) and cut-work. It measures 2" in diameter and 1 1/2" wide. There are absolutely no marks. I believe it to be silver, but could possibly be silverplate. It is in mint condition. I even have better in that I have a second ring in the same condition. The price is for one. You may buy one or both.

This large ladle measures 13" long. It is very plain. The bowl of the ladle is wider than long making it oval shaped. Not sure if its primary purpose is soup or punch. I believe it could be used either way. It does have five touch hall marks. I have shown a close up of them. I have yet to identify at this time. I have poured over marks until bleary eyed and have found no identification. I believe it is English silverplate. I have priced it as silverplate.

This lovely figural napkin ring is quadruple plate in the style of Kate Greenaway. The figure on this ring is of a young boy dressed for winter in coat and hat. He is carrying his books under his arm. The napkin ring is engraved with a floral design with concentric rings on both edges. There is a number impressed 02 54. There is also a name "Anni". It measures 3 1/4" tall and 3 1/4" wide. Very good condition.
