This is a true treasure. The child's dish or plate has a metal base for holding hot water to keep the infant's food warm. There are handles on the base, as well as a spout for filling. The spout has a twist lid that works just fine. The plate has 4 blue birds all in bright condition. The bottom of the dish is marked, "Made by The Buffalo Mfg. Co. Buffalo NY". This dish was made circa 1920. Remarkable condition. There is a small dent in the side of the metal.

This is a lovely bluebird platter with 3 bluebirds on one side and a single on the other. There is a gold rim, well worn, in addition to the blue band. It is marked The Potters Co-operative Company 2.24.2. There is utensil wear, crazing, and light staining. No chips or cracks. It measures 8 3/4" x 11 1/2".

Pictured on page 58 of "Bluebird China" by Kenna and Bob Rosen. This baby dish is charming. The dish measures 7 1/2" in diameter. It has a rim making it 1 1/2" deep. On the rim is "Baby's Plate". The center has a beautify dog, Brittany Spaniel. These baby dishes were made by ELPCO East Liverpool Potteries Company. They made the dish with different animals in the center. I have had an elephant and a horse. Very hard to come by. This one has wear but no chips or cracks.

Kenna and Bob Rosen describe this canister as "better quality". The decal is Migrating Blue Birds of Winter, popular on canisters but not dinnerware. The letter printing is block letters. (Someone has repainted them in gold) The canister measures 4 1/2" square and 9" tall including the lid. This canister is in good condition. The underside of the lid rim is not glazed.

This blue bird platter has an unusual smooth shape to the platter. The ends curve up. Each of the three bluebirds are in pink floral branches. The bottom is marked Clinchfield Chinaware S.P. (Southern Potteries) with a date code of 10-24. (1920's) This platter is in very good condition. There is some spotting on the bottom. It measures 9 1/4" x 11.

This 7" dessert plate is early 1900's American bluebird. There is a mark on the bottom which I cannot identify. The plate has 2 blue birds and the characteristic pink flowers. It is 12-sided and has a single blue ring around the outside. It is heavily crazed, but has no chips or cracks. I have 2 of these plates in similar condition. The price is for a single plate. This butterpat measures 3 1/4" in diameter. It has a lovely fluffy blue bird with pink flowers. There is a blue ring around the rim and another inside. This is the popular American bluebird china. There are no marks on the bottom. This one has not chips or cracks. There is light crazing. One spot on the top which has a tiny glaze miss.

I believe this small pitcher to be European, possibly English or German. The shape is 6 sided. One side has a lovely bluebird (blue bird). The other has a branch with pink and blue flowers. The top has a gilded band as well as the bottom. The blue birds and the flowers look very much like some German Children's plates I have. The bottom does the number 1154 in gold. This pitcher is in very good condition with wear to the gilding. Light crazing.

This spice canister is not marked but was made by Hull pottery in the 1920's. It is a square ceramic jar with lid. The front is marked Pepper and has two blue birds. The canister measures 2 3/8" on a side and 4 3/4" tall including the lid. There are a couple of minor flaws. There are a small chip on the corner of the square finial. There is a 3/4" hairline at the top on the back corner. There is crazing. This expected on the ceramic canisters of this era.

This butter pat has a single blue bird with pink flowers in the center. It measures 3 3/8" in diameter. It is 12-sided with embossed edge. There are no markings. I have 2 of these butter pats available. Both are light crazed. 1 has a chip on the edge. Another has a brown spot on the edge. The price is for a single butter pat. You may purchase 1 or both. Note: 2 of the original 4 have sold.

This platter is remarkable in its excellent condition.
