Harding's Book 1, "Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875. He measures 7 1/2" tall. There are tight hairlines on the base and across the ankle.

This is a pair of Staffordshire dogs. They are a pair and they measure 10" and 10 1/4". As often the case, one is slightly larger than the other. They are white with black noses. Strangely, the chain still has it color. The collar and tag are completely worn. I believe the noses have been repainted. The condition is good. There is a chip on the base under the glaze. This pair of dogs seem to be crudely made with lots of stray marks (indentations) from the molds.

This figure is in excellent condition. The top left limb of the tree has been broken off. There is tight stable hairline in the back. There is crazing consistent with age. There are no other chips or cracks. There is crazing. Grouping singles of various sizes and colors makes a great display.
