This is a cluster of grapes. Each of the 12 grapes is hand-blown. They are wired onto a stem. There are two molded leaves also attached with wires. The whole cluster 8 1/2" long and approximately 4" wide. Very good condition.

The round green glass bowl measures 91/2" in diameter and 2 1/2" tall. The rim of the bowl has a fluted design and rolled edge. The center of the bowl is fitted with a glass frog. The single tulip epergne horn fits in the center of the frog. The rim of the the horn is ruffled. There is a spiral around the outside of the stem. There is a chip on the underside of the bowl. These candle holders are made from glass petals and leaves wired together to make flowers. The flower petals are a pale green. These are typical of items made in Italy in the 1960's. Each flower measures 6 1/2" across. The height can be adjusted with the wire base. The center of each flower has a cup for holding a candle. They are slightly smaller that most standard tapers. This pair of candlesticks would grace any holiday table. They are not marked, but they are pictured in 1924 catalog by Central Glass Works, Wheeling West Virginia. Jeannette Glass also showed this design in a catalog of the same year. The design is unadorned but graceful. Each measures 7 1/4" tall by 3 3/4" in diameter at the base. Excellent condition.

This large bowl measures 13 1/4" in diameter. It is a free-form with one edge turned up. The color is a smokey gray with large gold spots and flecks. The bottom has a polished pontil. The bowl is in excellent condition. There is a flaw in that a stray grain of something is inside the glass. Shown in photo.

This small round vase measures 3 3/4" in diameter. It has a crackle molded design. The front of the base has a red rose and gold leaves. The paint on the front looks good. Most of the remaining paint is missing. No chips or cracks.

This rose bowl measures 5 1/2" in diameter. It is made of milk glass and is the puffy rose pattern. What I like so much is the paint. It has the traditional gold of goofus glass, but the roses are a lovely pink with mint green on the leaves. The missing paint just highlights the design.

This goofus glass vase measures 9 1/2" tall. It is unusual in the pale pink color. The front is gold and embossed with an open rose. The back is pale pink. The bottom has a piece of tape which reads, "From Teacher 1924". There is some paint loss. No chips or cracks. The top is rough characteristic of goofus glass.

This tall Bristol glass vase measures 11 1/2" tall. It is frosted and has delicate painting. There are gold bands and drapes with flowers. It is beautiful. There is a pontil on the bottom. This vase is in excellent condition with minor paint loss. This type of vase is routinely tagged Bristol when it is not necessarily made in Bristol England. Many European manufacturers produced this glass during the Victorian era.

Neither the canister or lid is marked. It is circa 1920-30 and made in England. The glass has that wonderful wavy appearance of old glass. The container measures 8 1/2" tall and the bases is 5 1/2" on a side. There are no chips or cracks. There is wear to the bottom.

This bell jar is scientific glass used to draw a vacuum. The base is ground glass for a tight fit to a base. The top has a neck with opening for attaching a vacuum pump. There is ground glass around the top rim. There is an article in one of the home magazines (May 2008 issues) on making small terrariums. This piece is perfect for that purpose. This lovely goofus glass bowl, circa 1900, is titled "Roses in Snow". It is a common goofus glass pattern. The roses and lattice work are exceptional. This has about 40% original paint. Lovers of goofus glass require original paint even though there may be some paint loss. There are no other faults.

This vase measures 12 1/2" tall. It has much of their original paint. The basic gold with green for the leaves and iridescent red for the roses. McKinley's book calls this pattern Tree Rose. There is roughness and minor chipping on the rim. This is very characteristic of these vases.

This is a beautiful decorative glass bowl made by Verlys 1935-1951. The bowl measures 6 1/4" in diameter and 1 7/8" tall. The 3 feet are pine cones. The bowl has pine boughs or branches. This piece is signed with a scratched Verlys name_ hence American. There is a tiny nick on the rim.
