Glamour Girl, Mad Men, GORGEOUS! This 100% wool suit circa 1962, is too fabulous for words! The SO SOFT wool is that famous Hong Kong knit that holds it's shape so very well. Size LARGE for a lady with taste. Bust 38.

The jacket features pastel, GLASS beading on the bodice and sleeves... LOVELY TULIPS! There are faux pearl accents as well. Beautiful construction, with a shaped beaded collar, and raglan sleeves. The hems, cuffs and closure edges down the front have beautifully loomed finishes. The hand crochet buttons fit beautifully in the tailored button holes. The LOVELY finish details make this a real fashion statement.

The skirt is equally well made. It has a waistband with elastic covered by this beautiful, soft wool, a side zipper and pleating at the waist for a smooth, lovely fit.

The label is: Made expressly for MACY'S in British Hong Kong, 100% wool. The color is perfect, classic pink. The beading is all HAND DONE and not a bead out of place. Clean, fresh and ready to wear!

Measurements in inches, laying item flat and measuring straight across: JACKET: Bust 38, waist 38, hip 38, These sleeves are raglan style so the sleeve is measured from center neck to cuff and is 27. Center back to hem is 25. SKIRT: waist 28 and will stretch to 30 with no problem ( waist band has elastic ), hip: 38, length 26 with a 1 & 1/2 inch hem allowance.
