MINTY ... marvelous... liquid LOVE; metal mesh! This vintage Whiting and Davis gold mesh bag is made of the signature, interlocking links of metal; making the body of this purse soooo fluid! The intricate construction is the brilliant use of metal, that feels like fabric! Nice size: Measures 5 1/2" x 7" and a 12" chain.

The frame is reticulated and closes with a double ball clasp. The chain handle is done in textured metal . and the lining is that yummy apricot color!

Inside edge of the frame is marked with the numbers 2898 and MADE IN THE USA. The tag on the lining is: Whiting and Davis, Made in the USA; Trade Mark Reg".

There is a small inside pocket with the original vanity mirror in place. Lining is minty, clasp is strong and secure, chain is minty, MESH IS MINTY. The cut out frame is beautiful with a few MINOR rubs. I do not believe this purse was used. It is clean and GLITZY! Red carpet worthy. Wear it through the holidays, that special date night and at your Oscar party!
