Ladies and gentlemen THIS is a lovely Vera Scarf! Silk twill printed with a riot of color and movement. A fabulous example of an artist transferring canvas brush work into textile art. WONDERFUL size for wrapping, draping and tying!
The white poppies have swirling centers in green and black. An ethereal wash of purple floats over all the flowers. All the blossoms lay in a water color background of purple edged with pink. MARVELOUS!
The hand rolled edge is trimmed in green. The VERA signature has the classic / original LADY BUG skittering along beside.
This is an incredibly beautiful design. Vera Neuman's prints were adapted directly from her artist's canvas to her line of scarves, clothing, household linens and dinner ware. Her scarves are my favorite. I wear them instead of a necklace and use them to brighten up a neckline. They are fabulous to protect your neck from a sweater or coat.
Measurements in inches: 25 x 25 inches. Large, usable size! Hand washable and already done for YOU! Minty condition!
