The field is white and the hand painting is expert. A cluster of tiny Forget Me Not blossoms are surrounded by a lavish gilt edge in swirls and curls. This is a beautiful, simply beautiful antique button!
Self shank / measures 3/4 of an inch across and is ever so slightly domed. There are two numbers molded into the back of the button. I believe they are 4 and 3.
I find no cracks or chips. Condition is ABOVE EXCELLENT!
