This very vintage 100% rayon is a simple, easy wear and easy care item. It was made from fabric that is 39 inches wide. All the raw edges are over stitched so they will not fray. This skirt was home tailored and the work is EXCELLENT!

The black background is printed with a CHARMING print of the nursery rhyme Little Bo Peep figures. The main character is tripping along with her bonnet and crook searching for her lost sheep. They are leaping, bouncing and frolicking among hay stacks, fences and little banners with quotes from the poem.

The colors are aqua, green and rosy pink on the black field. The fabric is very flowing and semi sheer. It is simply gathered on an elastic band at the waist. (elastic has been replaced as the old elastic had lost it's stretch)

Condition is ABOVE EXCELLENT. There are no spots, holes or signs of significant wear. The fabric is very strong and the colors are brilliant. The elastic has been replaced and the waist is LIKE NEW! You will enjoy this skirt for years and years. It can be machine washed on gentle and fluff dried on low to almost dry, and it will hardly show a wrinkle. The belt and blouse are not part of this listing. The listing is for the skirt only.

Measurements : waist 28 - 30, Hip up to 36, Length 33. The skirt is unlined.
