E-mail for DETAILS about my current SALE!
Luscious print of TULIPS in shades of green and gold on a white field. Round neckline, sleeveless and side snap closure. (old metal snaps still work fine!)
The dropped waist bodice is attached to the VERY, VERY full skirt with inset construction. This was to give MAXIMUM kick and flow to the dress!
The circumference of the hem is an astounding 225 inches around!
The dress still has it's original self fabric corsage. The corsage is a double flower gathered on a stiffened backing. The petals are unhemmed and flutter when you walk.... JUST like the hem of this skirt.
Amazing dress in FABULOUS condition. I find no holes or tears or odor. The underarms and shoulders are terrific. NOTE: there is one weak seam at one of the points where the bodice meets the skirt. This "V" seam is a very easy fix and is about 1/2 inch in length. The back of the corsage shows wear. The dress does not.
Color is even with no fading. The fabric is fresh and strong.
Shown on my mannequin with a white slip. There was no slip with this dress. Wear one in any of the colors of the fabric to give definition or wear with white or cream. Jewelry is not included with this listing.
Bust 36, Waist ( not defined) 36 and hip up to 36. Shoulder to hem is 53 inches. There are three narrow, narrow shaping darts on each side, just under the bust line, both FRONT AND BACK , to give slight shape! This dress was designed for a "Cusp" era when the 1920s flapper dresses were going out of style and a more shaped, elegant design was on the way. It is circa 1932. Perfect for the Model T Car lady and very, very wearable.
Insurance is always recommended / not paid by seller.
