The one piece dress can be worn with or without the self fabric tie belt. The neckline is trimmed with a wide gathered flounce. It is cut with no darts and is gathered to the neckline; with the dress falling ever wider from neck to hem. The hemline is trimmed with a WIDE self fabric flounce that has a narrow band of grosgrain ribbon.

This is really beautiful fabric with a spectacular print. Beautiful colors! This sheer, voile like synthetic has a striking, rich print. The flowers are exotic orchids with rich foliage. It is fully lined in a soft pink cotton. A lovely dress.

Circa 1965 the label is Lilia of Honolulu. PLEASE check these measurements carefully:

Bust 40, waist up to 44 and hip up to 46. Length from under the arm to the hem is 47. This is a floor length gown. Note: this is how you will check the length, by measuring from under your arm to floor length.

This dress is clean, fresh and in above excellent condition. The color is brilliant and the fabric is strong. The only issue is that the elastic around the neckline seems very wide. It has stretch and give, but as you can see from the picture the neckline REALLY plunges! You might think about replacing the elastic in the casing if you want less "exposure". The elastic is pretty stretched out. Priced accordingly.
