Cyber Monday SALE At Toinette's E-mail for Details! ALL WEEK Long!
Just type in Anniversary Special in my search box for the REAL DEAL! These items will be added through the end of August. They are rock bottom / bargain basement prices.
This darling little butter pat in the INDIAN TREE pattern is circa 1940. The colors are brilliant and the condition is above excellent. Great little Restaurant piece. Marked STERLING vitrified China, East Liverpool, Ohio USA. This piece came from the estate of a man who worked for the Union Pacific Railroad all his life. He started as a luggage handler in the 1920s and ended his career as the manger of the PULLMAN line in the 1970s.
The Indian Tree pattern was used by Pullman but not produced by THIS company. It was produced for the railroad and for restaurants with a Syracuse marks NOT this sterling mark..
This item is not marked railroad or Pullman. You can see other items in my shop from this estate with the Pullman mark. I have 8 of these available if you would like to use them for little plates for a doll house add on. However, you will not find tiny cups or saucers to match! These are butter pats.
Insurance is always recommended / not paid by seller.
