Especially for you from Toinette's, a set of three lovely coupe' soup bowls in the most exquisite pattern. More of this very pretty pattern of porcelain is listed at Toinette's. A lovely China pattern to collect and use. There are three bowls in this listing. I have given several pictures of the pieces for detail.

Lavishly decorated with floral decal work this pattern is sometimes called Moss Rose because of the lovely rose and floral decoration. The company name is HOSTESS, circa 1940 by Gold Castle, a Japanese export just before World War II began.

The body is white with soft yellow bands. The flowers are a delight of multi colored blossoms. A lacy gold trimming circles the white body of the pieces. Elegant gold paint trims the edges of all the pieces. The bowls are 7 & 5/8 inches across.

Condition is excellent. No cracks, chips, repairs or discoloration. The gold lace decal and to some small extent the edge trim of gold show minor wear. It is consistent with light use. The gold lace decal work is rarely found perfect. This is such a feminine pattern. Chic! Not the least bit shabby, with an old world Victorian styling.
