This charming chamber pot was made by the EDWIN BENNETT Potter Company ( Melcor / Alba / Zona mark) in the 1880's. The company operated in Baltimore Maryland.
The white field is lavishly decorated with transfer ware highlighted with delicate hand painting. The mold in relief is highlighted with gold. LOVELY handle, graceful arching rim and strong footed piece. It measures 8 & 1/2 inches wide excluding the handle and stands 5 & 1/2 inches tall.
This is a STRONG, undamaged piece. How fun to use it in your Victorian decorated bathroom to hold a bouquet, soaps, potpourri or beautiful linens.
