This is an authentic printed sewing pattern by Butterick circa 1955. This is an original. Never a copy at Toinette's! FABULOUS multi piece ensemble pattern! It is soooo Audrey Hepburn! Butterick 7243, bust 34.

You can make some SWEET vintage clothing. The one piece dress with princess seaming has a high, shaped collar, key hole opening at the throat. There are sewn down dart accents extending over the top of the bodice for a SUNBURST effect. The bodice is very fitted. The skirt is cut full. The hem is at mid calf and is so era specific.

The bolero jacket with 3/4 sleeves has turned up cuffs that can be accented with piping or top stitch detail. There are two button for closure. The little jacket is flared to give a VERY flattering silhouette floating above the waist. Is this sweet or what?

With a pattern like this; you can have any number of sweet ensembles. Use cotton for a casual event or dress it up fancy with satin for some HOT summer dates. Let your imagination be your guide! Get out that sewing machine and start going through my vintage fabrics.

This printed pattern is complete, has been cut. The envelope shows some significant wear. Measurements in inches : bust 34, waist 28, hip 37. Butterick 7243.

Fabric suggestions: polished cotton, taffeta, satin, cotton with a floral print, poplin, printed silk, synthetic blends, rayon, printed silks, satins or printed cotton.
