CYBER SALE At Toinette's E-mail for Details! My BEST SALE ever!
Ladies, this is a collector's item for sure. Vogue's Special Design patterns are steps above the run of the mill designs. Finding them from the 1930s is so wonderful.
This pattern for a one piece dress has two options for the bodice treatment. It's like getting two patterns in one! The slim skirt has dart tucks each side of center front and joins the bodice at the waistline. There are 3 graduating dart tucks above the belt at the waistline. ( VERY UNIQUE ) ... take a close look at these. They make for a VERY fitted waist!
A dickey is worn with a small collar and frills hooks at the center front in one view. OR there are linked buttons used with a plain dickey. the dicky with small turn over collar worn with this design gives an entirely different look to the dress. Sleeves are set in and can be cut 3/4 or wrist length. There is a side zipper closing.
I love the drawings of the mannequins. Darling hair styles. Their hats, gloves and shoes show the appropriate accessories for the ensemble. If you ever need to see Era specific details of how women dressed in days gone by these pattern envelopes are wonderful.
Bust 32, waist 27 and hip 35. This unprinted pattern has been cut, and is complete with the instruction page. The envelope shows quite a bit of wear. Everything is CLEAN.
E-mail me if you need a different pattern. There are hundreds and hundreds of patterns in the shop.
