SO mid century modern! So glad you found this fabulous pattern. It is always a treat to see the jewelry, hairstyles and shoes the mannequins wear on vintage pattern envelopes. The BELTS, chunky jewelry and wild fabrics are in style today.

Circa 1972 this pattern is from the BASIC line by Vogue. This pattern line was designed so the talented home seamstress could create an entire wardrobe of mix and match items with a basic, CLASSIC design.

It is for a semi fitted A-Line dress that is cut to finish two inches below the knee OR ankle length. It can also be made as a tunic top. There are sleeve and neckline variations for LOTS of different pieces.

The straight cut leg on the pants is the classic style of the Era. It's like getting a little extra with this pattern.

Measurements in inches: Bust 36, waist 27, hip 38. Complete with the instruction pages this pattern has been cut. There are notations in pencil on the envelope.
