The last date given on this pattern is 1923. How wonderful to find this in this extra large size; bust 40!

The one piece slip over dress is cut with Princess lines. it is close fitting at the hip line. There is a pleating at at each side of the front and back. the circular flare is attached across the wides.

The neckline is a gentle swoop. There is a choice of short sleeves that drape slightly and have a cuff OR the gorgeous long sleeve with full blousing from the elbow to the cuff. Done with an elegant silk or velvet this could be a fabulous evening gown.

Make it up in a dainty printed cotton and you have the classic 1920s housewife's afternoon dress. Use filmy rayon for a fancy party dress. Other suggestions given on the envelope are georgette, damask, silk crepe, satin crepe, flat crepe and canton crepe.

This unprinted pattern is complete with the very detailed deltor (instruction sheet) except for an unnumbered "stay" piece about 2 x 3 inch rectangle. Note that piece number 3 (the belt) is torn. Measurements in inches Bust 40, waist (not fitted) approximately 30 - 32, hip 42.
