The red plastic thermoset soldier is marching away with lots of action. His rifle is on his shoulder, his cape flows out behind him and his step is jaunty. 3 inches tall and approximately 1 & 3/4 inches wide. White spots in the pictures are camera flash.
There is a lot of detail in the molding, face, strap and feather on his hat and buttons on his jacket. Even his epaulets are displayed. There is gold paint highlighting... so snazzy!
The red plastic is semi translucent. The pin back is brass and is embedded in the back as well as glued. The closure is a simple "C".
Circa 1945; Condition is EXCELLENT noting some wear to the gold paint. There are no cracks, splits, warping or color distortion. He is a marvelous figural pin!
From an estate of fabulous costume jewelry, spanning 3 generations. See my other listings... signed, unsigned, unusual and some downright outrageous!
