Novelty Brooch BAKELITE Trimmed Hiking Boots & Hat 1940s Fun Figural

Super vintage fun, especially for you from Toinette's! Novelty / figural brooch for the true Bakelite collector. This wooden hat and pair of hiking boots are circa 1940. Carved from blond wood this is a two part pin. The boots are trimmed with apple green Bakelite on the soles and have little brass "spikes".

Both hat and boots have plastic covered "ribbon". On the hat it is the band and on the boots it is the laces. The plastic covered ribbons show wear and breaks, but are entirely intact.

This dangling novelty pin is just plain FUN! The pin mechanism works dandy. The pin measures: 3 & 1/2 long. No stains and other than the breaks in the "ribbon" are in terrific condition. Insurance is always recommended / not paid by seller.
