Lovely Lapis for a Primitive Princess! These pierced earrings are done in a silver tone metal that is set with, round, smooth, deep blue Lapis. These were made in the Middle East and have the primitive, hand finish of street artisans. There is no automated machine work here.

Lots of Dangle... ala Middle Eastern tribal, belly dance fun! The ear wires that were originally on these, were SO thick a gage, I don't think a Western ear could bear them! I have replaced them with stainless shepherd's hooks. They are in excellent condition. The lapis shows gold flecks, matrix and some flaws. This is expected and acceptable for street trade / street bazaar jewelry. This is a good example of Bedouin jewelry from the Middle East.

They hang 3 & 1/4 inches and are 1 & 3/8 across the widest point. They could be made shorter using a stud attachment rather than the shepherd's hooks.
