Fun bit of costume jewelry history here! This set of pot metal pins are in the shape of A "V" or chevron. This motif was common during World War II. The "V" for victory was very popular.

They were on the collar of a woman's 1940s wool suit that I was unable to salvage. This set is in wonderful condition. The metal is strong. The rhinestones are great and are pave' set. The pin mechanism is riveted to the pin.

The letters: AJG or AJC ( hard to read) are stamped on the back of each. Each measures 1 & 3/4 X 1 & 1/2 inch.
