This is a wonderful length of DEADSTOCK woven metallic bullion gold and silver trim that has never been used. Circa 1965 this piece measures 2 & 2/3 yards long and is 1 & 1/2 inch wide. There is a coin in the picture for size perspective.
This is a GORGEOUS piece with the SILVER and GOLD metallic bullion thread on a VERY WHITE background. The motif is metallic gold roses with matt gold centers and silver metallic leaves. This is really beautiful and could trim the garment of a Russian Ice Princess!
The uses are endless! In the 60s this was the preferred trim for all kinds of creations for the home seamstress and textile artisan. It is a thin, flexible fabric appropriate for going around the curves of a hat, laying flat on a pillow, purse or clothing creation.
