Delightful set of English toy china, HUMPHREYS CLOCK by RIDGWAYS, c1890. 21 pieces. Charming images of children, dogs and people and scenic English backgrounds. 21 pieces, 6 plates (4 1/2"), 6 cups (1 3/4"), 6 saucers (4 "), 1 teapot (4 1/2 "), 1 open sugar bowl (1 1/2"), 1 cream jug (1 3/4"). We purchased this lovely set years ago at an antique store in Vermont and it has been safely displayed in a glass cupboard ever since. In just amazing overall condition, incredibly clean, no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs. Some tea stains in glaze at bottom of teapot adds character. We found no flaws in it then and there are no flaws in it now. (Please email us if you would like to see additional photographs) A superb addition to a collection.
