About 9.25 by 11.75 inches, this portrait is signed V.O. Vloet. The depiction of the horses is precise and expert, almost like a photograph, and like a photograph the foreground and background are more vague. This picture has a lot of heart. Condition is good except around the borders where it is rough, and there is a repair to the canvas on the back. Probably dates to around mid-century.
