Red glass globe for Handlan railroad brakeman's lantern - USA POSTAGE INCLUDED!

Here is a very nice old globe that will fit a Handlan #364 railroad brakeman's lantern. It is red glass, with a double manufacturer marking but no railroad markings.

This globe is in excellent condition, with no damage other than the usual expected light rim scuffs from use. The glass is a beautiful dark ruby red.

MARKINGS: This globe has a K in a circle cast near the top, the mark of the Kopp company which made railway lanterns. It also has the word HANDLAN cast near the top on the other side. Height is 4-1/2 inches. Please note the squatty, pear shape.

This model Handlan can be hard to find a globe for. This one would be a nice addition to any collection of RR lamps or lanterns!

Red (cranberry or ruby) - danger ahead - a signal to stop

Yellow (Amber or brown) - use caution - proceed at reduced speed

Blue (cobalt) - placed on a car or engine as a signal that it is not to be moved

Green (teal, Kelly or blue-green) - use caution - a signal to proceed slowly; also a green lantern would be displayed on a wreck derrick to signal the engineer of a wreck train
