SATISFACTION GUARANTEED ~ Holiday Layaways ~ Multi-Purchase Discounts ~& a 1950s STEIFF TURKEY Looking for a Holiday Table!!
The lock, which comes with several links of original chain, works freely. The dustcover, marked ADLAKE in raised letters, snaps closed with a good strong inside spring. On the back of the lock is stamped CVRY above a patent number.
The brass key is 2 inches long. It is stamped CVRY on one side and on the other side is stamped a letter C. There is no maker’s stamp on the key.
Artifacts from the Central Vermont are difficult to find -- especially a working lock and key together. This set would be a star addition to any collection of early padlocks, or RR locks and keys, especially for a New England or Vermont railfan.
