Here is an absolutely fantastic big sterling silver pin - we'd suggest it would be awesome as a sweater pin, or to clasp a beautiful scarf! The subject is a very deco looking woman out for a stroll with her Borzoi ( Russian Wolfhound) dog. The image is a flat silhouette, with details molded into it. The texture of the dog's fur coat, the woman's face and clothing all can be seen. A long scarf trails out behind her. Her posture and clothing all scream "Deco!" Here is a fabulous Victorian era (or earlier, possibly Civil War era) watch fob made from human hair. It is an absolute work of art. Total length including the clips at each end is nearly 20 inches. My sister and I found this watchfob in with family jewelry when we cleared things out of our parents’ home. This came down through our great aunt, and we believe it probably belonged to her father (1840-1906) or perhaps her grandfather (1809-1885). We do not know who made it, or where it came from ...

We took it out of its box to photograph it and have replaced it on its display card in its original box. This pretty pin is approximately 7/8 inch across.
