Here is a VERY rare find in railway memorabilia: a delicate little New York Central railroad cordial or after-dinner liqueur or wine glass. Best of all, it is in absolutely pristine condition. It stands a graceful 3-1/2 inches tall and holds only 3/4 ounce. On the side correctly is a NYC crest in white enamel. This glass, made by Libbey, is their Georgian style #8053 cordial. We are offering as a pair, these beautiful tall glass wine glasses with twisted stems. Each is in stunning, as new condition with absolutely no damage whatsoever. The design is crisply etched, with great clear artwork depicting a "Pioneer" train on which the glasses were offered. The spiral stems are an appealing contrast in deep green. A very nice addition to any RR fan's collection of rail passenger dining car items - to use or display.

Here is a sharp looking little cordial glass from the New York Central Railroad. It is 4-1/2 inches tall and designed to hold 1-1/4 ounces. On its side it is crested with a jet black enamel New York Central Systems oval logo. This particular glassware is mentioned in "Sparkling Crystal: A Collector's Guide to Railroad Glassware" by authority Larry Paul, who assigns it the number "NYC-GW-8".
