This is a railroad backmarked Southern Pacific RR china rimmed soup plate, 7-3/8 inches across and 1-1/4 inches high. TWO are available: This Southern Pacific Railroad 5-1/2-inch bread-and-butter plate is in the pretty floral "Prairie Mountain Wildflowers" pattern. It is in very nice condition with only light use marks on its surface and absolutely NO cracks, chips, flakes, spider cracks or repairs. The flowers -- Baby Blue Eyes, Ruby Lily and California Poppy -- are bright and attractive, and not faded. Our plates are nearly identical. Here are a railroad backmarked coffee cup and 5-1/2" underplate in the beloved floral Prairie Mountain Wildflowers pattern used by the Southern Pacific RR for many years. Both pieces are in excellent condition.
