Offered for sale is this Dell Comics, Edgar Rice Burroughs’ Tarzan, dated June 1956, and Volume 1, No. 81. The front cover features Gordon Scott who played Tarzan in the movies during the 1950’s. He was the second most popular actor who played Tarzan in the movies to Johnny Weissmuller. Stories in this comic include: Tarzan and the Beast of Mokar, Tarzan and the Wall of Fire, and Brothers of the Spear. There’s also a great ad on the back cover for Schwinn Corvette Bikes. In the ad there is a place to send away for a free full color Schwinn Bike Folder with pictures of movie and television stars riding Schwinn bicycles. Pictured in this ad is the cover of one of these folders featuring Roy Rogers on a bike with Trigger by his side. Just a wonderful Schwinn ad.

Condition of comic: Very good condition.

Condition of front and back covers: Good condition. There is some very minor wear along the spine, very minor chipping at the top and bottom of the spine, some waviness along the right edge of the front cover, a crease mark at the top and bottom right corners of the front cover, a tiny piece missing from the bottom left corner of the back cover, and a tiny chip out of the bottom edge of the back cover. There is some minor soiling to the back cover.

Condition of inside pages: Very good condition.
