I've had this set quite awhile as my husbands initials are SS. So he loved this set too. But I've changed out my dresser set (again) and now I'm selling this wonderful set. It is in very good condition, with 22 pieces to it, which include the tops to the containers. The glass is all crystal glass. The pieces are marked F&S Sterling. There are quite a few F& S silver companies and I haven't pinned it down yet, but will search more.

The sterling set has a very nice hand mirror, 2 brushes, a lovely powder bowl, a manicure set with buffer and file, a shoe horn, a button hook, 2 long cylinders, and 3 smaller dresser boxes. The brushes seem soft and most likely made from horse hair. Everything looks really good, but there is still talc in the powder box made for talc. A few minor dents on some pieces but nothing that stands out. It has been well attended to and taken care of.

I purchased this from a young man who was selling it for his grandma. I spoke with her on the phone, and she told me that it was her husbands set that he received for a gift when they were first married. Grandma was 87 then and I purchased and have had it for 10 years. My husbands initials are SS so he loved it. But he never uses it and it just sits around so time for someone else to enjoy it. If it is you, you will be only the third owner. The initials in the set is SGS and as you can see it is on each piece. If you need more pictures please let me know. There is some wear to the bristles in the brushes, but we never used the set...only admired it on the dresser.
