In perfect condition is this Demitasse tea cup and saucer with pure sterling silver overlay. It is marked in the silver 1000/1000 which is pure silver. It is quite stunning with the contrast of sterling silver and white porcelain. The sterling silver overlay is a detailed garland of roses or flowers. It is marked Bavaria on the bottom and the maker looks to be Gehn or Gebr. It is also numbered I have not polished the silver. Both pieces have the "ping" sound to the porcelain, indicating no cracks. The porcelain is egg shell thin. Hard to find these! A beautiful treasure, now and forever.

The saucer is 4 1/8" wide and the cup is 2" tall by 2" wide.
