SALE Large Antique French Champleve Enameled Beveled Mirror w/ Marble

This is an antique, large and heavy mirror. It is made of French Champleve atop of Marble. Champleve is a French word for inlaid enamel. This is full of bright colors and contrasting colors. It is in perfect shape. The back has a thick piece of brass that holds it up. It has a stand on it to sit back, like a frame does, on a counter space. I am showing it on my large buffet with books and other things to show how large it is.

The mirror and enamel and marble stone are all perfect. It is an antique, the seller told me it was probably from 1845-1880, which goes along with when French Champleve was made. This is another piece that reminds us that, "They don't make things like they use to." Stable, and made of the highest of quality.

It is 16" tall and 12" wide. The beveled mirror part is 8 1/2 X 5 3/4. Look at the wonderful detail in the enamel. I love how the design crosses over the mirror. It is exquisite. I've never seen another like it. It is not marked. It weighs about 12 pounds. There is also a place in the back that has a hole where it could be hung on a wall. Unique, elegant and gorgeous.
