This is an absolutely GORGEOUS purse from the 1920's. It has an elaborate jeweled frame with enameling. Lots of jewels and lots of intricate enameling. The enameled flowers are perfect with no loss to the enamel. The beads are the micro glass beads and it just shimmers with various colors in the bouquet of flowers. The seams are still together and the silk lining is original with a pocket and clean. The twisted beaded fringe on the bottom is in great shape but perhaps missing a few loops at the ends. I thought it was perfect when I purchased it but when I took a loop to the frame I found 6 of the smallest of glass beads missing. The lining is beautiful but in one area at the top it is starting to separate due to age. All in all it is a 9.5 out of 10. It is 11" long from fringe to frame and 8" wide. The chain is in very good condition too, with filigree mounts at the end. Absolutely stunning! The clasp is jeweled also and works great.
