This is a wonderful Limoges piece by Charles Ahrenfeldt and Charles J. Ahrenfeldt, his son. This piece was made in1893-1900. The piece is signed and also illustrates the "Duchess de Bourgogne". The back of the candle holder has a space where you can knock out the old melted candle to replace it. Beautiful gold paint added to the decor. I love the details of the lace dresses and hair styles of these wonderful Victorian women. This has one tiny chip, (1/8") on bottom of the base, which is over-sized in the picture. It's one you feel rather than see, but there. This piece is 6" across and 3" tall. Some wear on the gold color paint. This has been used and still has old wax in the candle holder.
